Ram Peretz Real Estate Development approached us with a request to perform MEP modeling and systems coordination within a very tight schedule — approximately one week before the raft foundation concrete pour. Despite the challenging timeframe, we decided not to turn down the opportunity to work with them as a client. Thanks to the extensive knowledge and dedication of our office team, we successfully completed the modeling, submitted clash detection reports on time, and coordinated between the various disciplines before execution.

During the project, we identified an HVAC system that was blocking the opening of a generator room door in the basement. It is important to understand that the software can automatically alert us when two different systems physically clash with one another. However, issues such as a door being unable to open are not situations that the software can detect on its own. The reason we were able to identify these types of conflicts was our deep understanding of the project, the extensive experience of our office team, and the understanding that a designer without real-world field experience cannot fully maximize their potential.
