In this project, we were requested to perform systems coordination for the client, with an emphasis on specific areas of the project that contained a large number of systems relative to the available space. This created high-density zones with a significant potential for clashes between systems, beams, and suspended ceiling drops.
As with the other projects in which we have participated, here too we successfully identified clash points, approved openings in structural beams, and coordinated changes to system routes in collaboration with the structural engineer and the other consultants.
It is important for us to note that, as systems coordinators, we often encounter the challenge of engaging all consultants in coordination meetings. For this exact reason, we make an effort to present the clash reports we identify together with proposed solutions, with the goal of making the process easier for consultants who are managing multiple projects and enabling faster approval of solutions. In this project, it was clear that there was full cooperation and direct communication from the consultants, which resulted in a smooth, efficient, and professional workflow.
In this project, some of the consultants worked in AutoCAD while others worked in Revit. In order to achieve the highest professional level of systems coordination, our proficiency in both software platforms played a significant role. We are pleased to have been part of this project and to have demonstrated our experience and expertise with different software tools.
