Olio Bat Yam is a project that excellently demonstrates the ability of technology to extract accurate quantities of different concrete types, both from the project as a whole and specifically from each selected element within the project.

Geometrix Company approached us with a requirement to model the concrete in the underground floors of the project in order to extract quantities according to the bill of quantities (BOQ) items. Modeling for system coordination or visualization purposes is fundamentally different from modeling for quantity extraction.

In this case, a modeler may unintentionally duplicate the concrete quantities where elements overlap, such as columns, beams, and slabs. Even if the modeler knows how to subtract volumes between overlapping elements, they must understand which element takes precedence over another in order to correctly assign each specific concrete volume. Modeling work can be impressive in terms of its graphical appearance, but true professionalism and accuracy are found in the small details.

In the following sheets, you can see the 3D modeling of the project's underground floors, as well as detailed drawings showing each individual element and the concrete type to which it belongs. In addition, you can see the quantity table we extracted according to the project's bill of quantities.
